Indian Hospital Furniture Vs Chinese Hospital Furniture

Let us examine few facts and differences to understand the difference between hospital furniture manufactured in India Vs in China. First, let us clearly understand what are main factors that affect Hospital Furniture, in fact, any furniture.Foremost is raw material then comes process & technology involved and kind of manufacturing plant having quality control. For Hospital Furnitures, two types of Iron pipes are used either CRC pipes or simple steel/iron pipes.CRC pipes are customized and more non-rusting and are popular in India. Most important parameters for pipes and tubes selection is gauge means the thickness of pipes.I came across Chinese furniture which generally is of 18-20 gauges means only about 0.8 mm thickness, however in India avaialbilty of pipes below 1 mm is very very less , most of the manufacturer uses 18 gauge and above, which is more than 1mm thickness. This clearly is major difference and add to longevity, long life and durability. In China their goverenment is very pro-active in providing raw material at subsided rate and with fixed gauges. However at India we buys Iron pipes and tubes from Indian Lalas or traders who are very shrewd and always tries to push heavier pipes and tubes ,end result is manufacturer ends up buying pipes and tubes with more than 1.20 mm thicknesses. However it becomes great advantage for user , howver manufacturer pays through his nose. As per this fact it is clear that Indian Furniture is more sturdy and long lasting in compare to China. Now comes second big difference the technology and process , here Chinese counterpart score more on look only , as they are more automated and uses large production houses, Chinese are able to produce better look product, but again that is not surety of durability and better usage.Chinse had been very poor in understanding clinical applications of any medical products, but of late thanks to thousand of Indian who visit China every year and gave them lot of input and free knowledge and result is that Chinese are learning fast.Since Indian manufacture uses semi-automated processes they are producing less good, but better quality but expensive obviously. Another great difference is that Indian labour are very very smart and shrewd, they try to expand work for more hours to get their extra overtime, However In China there are strict policies related to labour. All this add more manufcaturing time to Indian Hospital Furniture and makes it better , which is good for user but dis-advantgeous to manufcaturer.I have taken feedback from two Mumbai doctors , who happens to be owner of big hospital and they commented that Chinese Hospital Furniture is nothing more than good looking scrap. This is clear indicative of their experience with Chinese Hospital Furniture. To Know more or to get further great detail about manufacturing process, cost, sourcing of Hospital Furniture contact me at allwinmedi@gmail.com
